We have lots of new f= aces to greet! Congratulations to Sar= a Fox on her purchase of Scotch, Catherine Goldberg on her new Jeopardy, Maddie Cripps on her purchase of Jake and Ms. Cindy Walke on her purchase of Nosey. We will enjoy them all= in the lesson program! Scotch is an Arab/Appaloosa cross, Jeopardy and Jake are both Appendix Quarter Horses and Nosey is an Appaloosa. Look f= or Savannah Fulton’s new project, Handy – a 6 year old Thoroughbred gelding - currently coming out of the Quarantine barn. Treasure, a 7 year old Morgan/Angl= o Arab cross, is working her way into the lesson program and is looking for her sp= ecial someone.

Volunteer Opportunities Abound

As most of you are aw= are, the FMF Horse Trials are fast approaching – the date is Sunday, November 18. We are in need of _over 100 volunteers_ to make this event a success. Remember tho= se under age 12 need to have an adult with them.

Sunday Schedule Changes for November =

Due to scheduling for= ces beyond our control, our Sunday lesson schedule has become a bit difficult t= his month. Instead of canceling o= ur Sunday lessons for a month, we have endeavored to give as many students as = possible the opportunity to ride during this during time.

·         Sunday November 11
There is an “A” League show today, but Mr. Jess’s lessons will run as normal weather permitting.&nbs= p; If it is raining please call the farm and press option 5. There will= be a message in that box if we cancel lessons. If there is no message then thi= ngs are running as normal. Ms Michelle’s lessons will run normally = for the most part – please see the web site for Ms. Michelle’s less= on changes.

·         Sunday November 18
FMF HORSE TRIALS – ALL LE= SSONS ARE CANCELLED. Please volunte= er to help. Call Ms. Jane at 410 418-5226. It is a really interesting and fun way to support your farm!!!

Team News

Our NCEL B took first place in their home show on November 4^th=! The team earned 59 points against Tamarack, Maintree and Oatland. High Point riders were: Savannah Fulton with 13 points and Kelsey-Parks Smith with 10. Alternate Samantha Warnke won both of her classes.

The NCSSEL traveled to compete against Merrymount and Century Manor. They earned 30 points = in tough competition taking 3^rd place. High point riders were Kaitlyn Capasso with 9 points and Hana Dudley with 5.

Show News

Congratulations to al= l our riders - First and second place finishes as follows:

FMF eventers joined t= he October 7th competition Olde Hope = Farms Oktoberfest Horse Trials. Complete with Bavarian dress and Oompah music, it was like a party w= ith your horse.

Emily Donathan and Or= eo won second place in Elementary Rider B. With a terrific score of 28.4, Sarah Hyde piloted Gatsby to third pl= ace in Elementary Horse B. Casey = Jane Muller and Claremont won first place in Intro Horse A. Intro Rider B found Samantha Warnke riding The Saint to first place. Dailee Fagnant and her Grey Expect= ations had a terrific day earning first place in Intro Rider C. In Intro Rider D, Emily Arches and Private Benjamin won first place. Savannah Fulton and FMF Gracefully Dun enjoyed a fun day in Novice B winning second place. Mary Ballew and General MacArthur continue their winning season with a first in the Novice C divisi= on with a fine score of only 29. The team of Casey Muller, Emily Arches and Samantha Warnke brought home team ho= nors as the group with the lowest combined finishes.

On October 14 Rebecca= Stachlinski rode T-Bone to first place of Junior Novice Rider at the Olney Farm Fall Horse Trials.
