Winter equitation season is in full swing!  Here is a great way to support your FMF family even if your family does not ride on a team. 

As many of you know, and have experienced, equitation season ends in the spring with each team in each league competing against each other in a finale meet.  These meets are usually L-O-N-G but fun!  What is unique about the NCEL finale (A & B teams) is that it happens over an entire weekend and takes place at Morven Park in Leesburg, VA.   

As you might expect, taking two teams of riders and their families for a weekend away can be quite hectic; but, when you add a team of horses for them to ride while there, you are really adding to the excitement.  You are also adding to the cost.  Not only do the horses need to be transported, but stalls need to be rented and bedding needs to be purchased for them while they are away from the farm.  Therefore, to help offset a portion of this expense, the NCEL A&B teams are having a fundraiser at
J&P Pizza, located at the Finksburg Plaza, on February 12th. 

Please help support these teams by either dining in or taking out from J&P anytime the restaurant is open (breakfast, lunch, dinner) on that day.  A portion of all checks will be given back to the teams to help with finale costs.  However, you must present a flyer when paying your check. You can download the flyer HERE.  There will also be copies of available in the barn.  Please print as many flyers as you can and pass them on to your families and friends.  

FMF will receive credit for any and all checks which are accompanied by a flyer.
