Burnt Beignet
Burnt Beignet..aka 'Bernie', is a 2004 liver chestnut TB gelding, 16.1. 'Bernie' has started his eventing career this year at BN with a junior rider. He is really starting to figure out the game...has no issues with water/banks/etc and has finished clear at his 2 recognized HT's to date...6th and 4th (Seneca and Marlborough). He has an auto lead change, jumps in great form, is a really attractive mover and has even pinned well at several hunter shows! He is currently in the lesson program and is very tolerant of a not quite perfect ride. 'Bernie' will make a super event horse with the scope to move up the levels...or he could certainly do the hunters as well. Hacks out well alone or in company and has no vices. He has been very sound for us in steady work. Did I mention he has great feet too?
