2008 Full Moon Farm ~ Olde Hope Farm ~ Olney Farm
Starter Cup Series

Once again Full Moon Farm in Carroll County MD, Olde Hope Farms in Earleville, Md and Olney Farm in Joppa, MD (Harford County) have joined forces to offer an amateur eventing series in the mid-Maryland area. Come and join the fun and sign up to compete, to make new friends, to have new experiences and to win awards.

WHO: All amateur riders can sign-up to be part of the series. You do not have to be a member of a group or club to be eligible. The cost to sign-up for the year 2008 is $15.00 per entry.

WHAT: This eventing series is meant to be fun and educational. There will be a total of ten starter horse trials and to be eligible for the year-end awards you need to complete three of the trials competing at two or more facilities.

WHERE & WHEN: The events are: 4/13 at Olde Hope Farms; 5/25 at Full Moon Farm; 6/1 at Olde Hope Farms; 6/13 at Olde Hope Farms, 7/18 at Olde Hope Farms; 8/3 at Olde Hope Farms; 8/15 at Olde Hope Farms; 9/28 at Olney Farm; 10/5 at Olde Hope Farms; 11/16 at Full Moon Farm. There will be a year-end awards program - location, date and cost TBA.

HOW: You can register two ways: 1) Register on-site at any of the first 8 horse trials. 2) Complete the information on the bottom of this form and mail it along with your check made out to Full Moon Farm to Full Moon Farm - Starter Cup Series, 4326 Louisville Rd, Finksburg, MD 21048. Forms are also available at www.fullmoonfarm.com.

RULES: Divisions: Horse and Rider in: Pre-Elementary (includes Greenhorn and Starter Elementary), Elementary, Baby Beginner Novice (includes Baby Beginner and Intro), Beginner Novice (includes Pre-Novice & Beginner Novice), Novice (Includes Starter Novice & Novice & Open Novice). Depending on entries we may further divide some divisions by junior/senior rider or completely arbitrary age breaks. Rider substitutions are acceptable in Horse Divisions, Horse substitutions are acceptable in Rider Divisions.
Awards: Ribbons and prizes will be given for each award. Number of awards in each division is dependent on number of entries. Each entry may win in only one division.
Scoring: The worst (highest points) scores are dropped, the remaining scores are combined to arrive at final score. If there is a move up in divisions, scores will count in the division ridden most often, if equal they will count in the higher division. Scores will count from the date the entry is submitted or postmarked so if you enter at Olde Hope in June your score from Full Moon in May will not be considered

By registering for the horse trial series sponsored by Full Moon Farm, Olde Hope Farms, and Olney Farm I acknowledge that I am capable of participating in such equestrian activities. I certify that I have the necessary skills and experience to participate safely. I assume full responsibility for myself, my horse, and anyone who accompanied me to such activities. I agree to hold harmless the series, Full Moon Farm, Olde Hope Farms, Olney Farm, all land- owners, organizers, officials, judges, sponsors and volunteers. I acknowledge that any information supplied to me by the series is only for entertainment and I am not depending on such information to make me capable of participating or improve my abilities/skills in any way.
