All dressage is outdoors. All courses include hills. All courses except starter elementary include creeks, ditch(es), bank(s) and water jump(s).
DIVISIONS
Starter Training - This division will be timed to be ridden at approximately 400 m/m. Open to horse and rider combinations that have not completed 6 or more horse trials at the Preliminary level or above.

Open Novice - This division will be timed to be ridden at approximately 350 m/m. Open to horse and rider combinations that have not completed 6 or more horse trials at the training level or above. The course may differ from the starter Novice Division in that options may be more difficult and at max height.

Starter Novice - Open to horse and rider combinations that have not completed 6 or more horse trials at the novice level or above. A good course to move up from the beginner novice division. Straightforward jumping efforts.

Beginner Novice - Open to horse and rider combinations that have not completed more than 6 horse trials at the novice level or above. A very inviting x-c course but still challenging at this level.

Elementary - Open to horse and rider combinations that have not completed 6 or more horse trials at the baby beginner novice level or above. A very inviting x-c course, straightforward jumping efforts including small banks and water.

Starter Elementary - Slightly lower than elementary and slightly less complex. Mostly logs, some coops and post and rails, no water.

Team Competition - Teams consist of 3 or 4 entrants from any combination of divisions, best 3 scores to count. Team placings 1 through 8. Teams must specify a team name.
Entries: $90 per division. $5 per team member (total of $15 for a 3 entry team, $20 for a four entry team). One horse may be shared by two riders as long as they are not in the same class in the same division. Please make checks payable to Full Moon Farm. A separate entry is required for each horse and rider combination. All substitutions must be approved by the horse trials secretary. Entry must include a negative Coggins Test dated within 12 months and proof of Rhino within 90 days of the event. Entries will be posted on the website as they are received. Please verify your entry before the closing date.
Refunds: before closing date less a $10.00 office fee. NO refunds after the closing date. No refunds if event is cancelled.
Changes: $25.00 charge for changes after the closing date. No charge for changes before the closing date..
Starting times: If you are trucking with someone, sharing a coach, have to get back for chores or whatever, include a note on your entry form. The secretary will try to accomodate you (no promises). Starting times will be posted on our web site www.fullmoonfarm.com Thursday morning. On or after Thursday you may call the farm office (410-795-8371) 1-4 PM or e-mail the secretary (fmf@vermontel.net) for times.
Juniors are riders through their 18th birthday.

Other: Courses other than Open Novice will not be timed.
No stallions.
No dogs or other pets allowed on grounds - our insurance does not cover pets - this includes the course walk
The organizers reserve the right to split/combine or do whatever to divisions to make everything run smoothly. Poor sportsmanship will result in dismissal from the show grounds.
Only entered horses on the show grounds; only entered riders may be up on a horse (due to signed release forms).
Food: Excellent food will be available on grounds.
Water: Limited water is available for drinking only - please bring your own!!
Awards: Seven ribbons and one prize from our sponsors for each division winner. Team ribbons 1-8.
Services: Farrier on site. EMT on site. Veterinarian on call.
NOTE - USEA rules will be in effect unless otherwise noted. Medical armbands are required. A limited number will be available for purchase from vendors on the day of the competition. The USEA rulebook is available for download from their website www.useventing.com.
NOTE - Non-USEA rule: a horse may compete in more than one RIDER division. A horse may compete in non-consecutive divisions.
NOTE - under penalty of elimination ASTM/SEI approved riding helmets with fastened attached harness are required for all riders at all times when mounted! This applies to all phases of the competition and to ALL riders!!
NOTE - under penalty of elimination all riders are required to wear body protection vests during the cross country phase!!
NOTE - proof of vaccination for Equine Influenza and Rhinopneumonitis (EVH) from 7 to 90 (0 to 90 for revaccination) days before the date of the activity is required with your entry. A copy of an invoice from your vet with the vaccine information and your horse's name is sufficient. If your barn does its own vaccinations then include a copy of the vaccine invoice with your horse's name and date of vaccination signed by the person who administered the vaccine. If this is your horse's barn name be sure to write something so that the secretary can match it to your coggins and entry.
Directions to Full Moon Farm:
From Westminster and points north: Take route 140 east from Westminster or west
from Reisterstown to Rt 91 (Gamber Road) south toward Gamber. At the first light
- Deer Park Road - go left. Go one mile and turn right onto Lousiville Road.
Go 1 mile on Louisville Road and see the sign on the right hand side - Full
Moon Farm.
From route 70 and points south: Take route 70 east from Frederick or west from Baltimore to route 32 north. Go approximately 8 miles north on 32 'til you cross the intersection of route 26 in Eldersburg. Stay on 32 north and go approximately 3.5 miles. You will cross over the Liberty Reservoir and go up a long hill. Turn right on Bollinger Mill Road (at top of hill, trailer park across street), go JUST 50 feet and turn left immediately on Louisville Road. Go 0.8 miles to sign on left - Full Moon Farm.
