Lesson Payment Policy
Effective September 18, 2004

Our bookkeeping and tracking of lessons is getting out of hand, as too many of our students are not paying for their lesson set at the first lesson. So effective
SEPTEMBER 18TH, 2004 we are ‘officially' stipulating that (as always) lesson payments are due at the first lesson of your new set (1/9$ or 1/3$). Now you may also pay for the entire set by the second lesson (2/9$ or 2/3$). Don't forget you may also mail payment directly to Full Moon Farm, 4326 Louisville Rd., Finksburg, MD 21048 att. Sherry/payments.

UNLESS previous arrangements have been made there are no partial payments for lesson packages from this point forward.

Lesson payments received when the lesson board says 3/9$ or 4/9$ will now be charged a 5% late fee=$13.50 or $283.50 for a group lesson package. For private lessons if the board says 3/3$ you will be charged an additional $5 so $105 for the package.

Group lesson payments received when the board says 5/9$ or 6/9$ will be charged a 10% late fee=$27 or $297 for the package.

When the board says 7/9$, 8/9$ or 9/9$ you will receive a call from the office and also be assessed a 20% late charge=$54 or $324/set. You will not be allowed to ride in your next set of lessons until you have paid for the previous one.

Please believe us-we would rather you keep the late fee charges and PAY ON TIME, but it is getting out of hand and we have to do something!

As always it is the students' and parents' responsibility to read the lesson board weekly-your lesson status is up there EVERY WEEK. If for some reason it is not please call the office at 410.795.8371 and let us know. Also if you have a discrepancy between what is on the board and where you think you are in your set please call us! We'll be happy to review our records. But remember 3/9 is the same as 4/10, it just lets us know you need a make-up at the end of your session. If you missed more that one lesson it is THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY to call to schedule a make-up. We will not schedule a make-up for your first missed lesson, it will be added in at the 10th week.

Also as a reminder the next lesson set starts automatically in 11 weeks from your first lesson in the set. So if you have 3 make-ups to schedule (which is the most we will reschedule in a 10 week session), they need to be made up WITHIN THOSE 10 WEEKS, once those 10 weeks (or 4 weeks for private lessons) goes by you lose those make-ups-it is your job to call to reschedule those-ups. We will not reschedule make-ups even if you call 2 hours ahead of time. It makes scheduling too difficult.
