Summer Camp

Registration is open!

Please see registration info & form at the bottom of this page.
A day at Full Moon Farm's Summer Camp is filled with horse-related everything!
Campers will discover the wonderful world of horses and farm life! Campers enjoy daily riding, horse care lessons, guest speakers, horse-related crafts, nature hikes, games, and more- all during a week-long horse adventure!

Riding groups are formed by age and previous riding experience, so everyone gets the most out of their daily lessons. Ample assistance is provided for “new horse people”.

Sign up for one, two, or all three weeks!
2024 Dates:
June 17th-21st
July 15th-19th
August 19th-23rd
Early Bird Rate: $450 per week
Regular Rate: $485 per week
Please note that the Early Bird Rate expires after April 30th, 2024.

We find that campers who have not previously ridden independently often enjoy their camp riding experience even more if they complete a few private lessons before camp begins, but this is not required. We are prepared for all riding abilities! If interested, please visit hopoti.com/stable/FullMoonFarm to schedule lessons prior to camp.

Please note that our camp is designed for ages 5 to 12, with most campers aged 7 to 11 years old.

Camp Schedule

Camp sign-in is from 8:45-9:00am each day. Please plan to arrive a few minutes in advance to walk your camper up to registration and sign them in each day. (Please do not drop off your camper before 8:45am.)

Sign-out is from 2:45-3:00pm each day. All campers must be signed out at the end of each day, no later than 3:00pm.

We also offer Beforecare (8am-9am; Tues-Fri) and Aftercare (3-4pm, Mon-Thurs).

We tailor each day based on the campers’ interests and abilities, as well as the weather.

Camp activities include: morning/afternoon riding lessons, horse care lessons, crafts, nature hikes, games, demos featuring our advanced riders, and guest speakers.

Previous years’ speakers include: veterinarians, equine dentists, chiropractors, trainers, and barn managers.

Activities range from learning how to properly groom and tack… to bathing a horse… to horse-related games and crafts!

We learn about breeds, markings, tack, barn management, equine health, and horse safety.

Our arts and crafts are memorable each year! Campers take home crafts each and every day.

At Full Moon Farm, each day brings new learning, new adventure, and new fun!

What to Bring

Every camper should bring their own lunch in a cooler, snacks, and a water bottle. Water refills are provided.

Your rider must have long pants and hard-soled shoes with a heel to ride, but may bring a change of clothes and wear shorts during the non-riding portion of the day. (No open-toed shoes at any point during the day!)

We have school helmets available for riding, or riders may bring their own.

*Due to COVID-19 precautions, we highly recommend that campers bring their own riding helmets.*
